General information
General information
Our selection of Masdevallia tovarensis is easy to care for and reliably blooms every year in the winter months. Some flower stalks remain green all summer long, so that new flowers appear on them in winter. It originally comes from Venezuela and grows there in the cloud-covered cloud forests.
care instructions
care instructions
Masdevallia prefer a bright location near a window, but should not be exposed to direct sunlight. They feel most comfortable at temperatures between 12-20°C. The substrate should be slightly dry before watering; waterlogging and extreme dryness should be avoided. Fertilize twice a month during the growing season from March to September. The Masdevallia should be repotted every two years.
