Cocoon Orchid - Promenaea 'sunlight orchid'

Our beautiful Promenaea 'sunlight orchid' will brighten up any window sill with their large yellow flowers! The upright growth of the leaves and the drooping flowers make them stand out in our cocoon glass! A small herald of spring that reliably blooms every year comes!

LOCATION

The Cocoon Orchid can be placed on a windowsill, a desk, a shelf, or anywhere you like best. It needs some light, but should never be placed in direct sunlight. During the winter months, however, it is recommended to be near a window, as the light inside the room
might be a little too little in the dark months of the year.

CARE

The gravel layer filled with water ensures ideal humidity inside the glass and cools the plant. The orchids grow on a cork board in their natural way of life and show a small section of the orchids' original epiphytic way of life. Watering the plant once a week is sufficient. The Aquastick® connects the Cocoon Orchid and the gravel layer and supplies the plant with the remaining water from the gravel layer, making watering the plants much easier. The amount of water remaining can greatly influence the watering interval. This means that after a generous watering, you can go on holiday with a clear conscience without having to worry about your charges. The Cocoon Orchids are slim and much cleaner than a conventional potted plant because they do not need any substrate.

SIZE

The glass has a height of 25cm and a diameter of
13cm. Depending on the growth habit of the plant, it may protrude from the glass.

Die Orchideen sind super verpackt angekommen. Es war sogar ein Heat Pack mit im Karton. Das bekommen manche Orchideen Gärtnereien nicht hin!

Die drei BellaVallia sind richtig groß und stark bewurzelt gewesen, dass ich diese erst einmal umtopfen musste. Ein paar Pflanzen habe ich an eine Terra Base gebunden und bin gespannt ob das funktioniert und die Orchideen gut anwachsen. Alle drei Pflanzen haben viele Blüten Ansätze. Ich habe das erste mal bei BlattPost bestellt und bin gespannt wie die Pflanzen sich unter meinen anderen 50 Ochideen machen.
